In this week's post is on the second variation crayon box, which is the trapezoidal prism, made some new design elements to give it innovative feature to the box. I wanted to the box interior features to make grabbing crayons easier.
Above is the initial sketch of the trapezoidal prism containing two rectangular prism dividers for 4 crayons in each. *8 Crayons in totals
Showing view points of how it would look, but without the transparency of course.

above are four view points of the innovative crayon box containing 8 crayons in total
Craft: Crafting with hands, computer software, and printing to make a object containing 8 crayons in a innovative way from a normal crayon box.
concept: The second variation was interesting to take a step further since it had an unorthodox look. It needed a divider to separate the 8 crayons in 2 groups of 4. Arrangement for future ideas of cool tones and warm tones crayons, etc. as well include a place holder for a lift up feature that cause the crayons dividers to rise while opening the box with tab lift.
Composition: started off as a rough sketch of the trapezoidal prism box with innovative features of lift up dividers to grab crayons easier. then proceed to cleaner sketch up with measurements. Thus, leading illustrator to make accurate shapes outline of the box. Printed on 11x17 tabloid paper. cut out by exo-knife then gluing tabs and sides together by hand and Elmer's glue stick. the total is 8 pieces to make this crayon box.
