week 7 completed crayon boxes

In this week's post is on the three graphic design made on the trapezoidal prisms. Edit changes was made and as well as minor fixes on the design of the prism. overall this is the final version of it but instead of one .. three designs are part of the 3 versions of the trapezoidal prism being created

Craft: boxes are made by hand from sketching to illustration on illustrator using preinstalled tools and installed fonts. printed by Xerox printer, cut out by exo-knife and glued with Elmer's glue stick
Concept: based on the last post but the final touches and edits with changing names to romel on the cig crayon box because it based on my middle name.. idk what's the significance of my middle name but I thought it would be cool to have a cig crayon box based on my middle name.. Romel's Cig crayon box ..haha humorous. The pill bottle box was changed to ANFASLIM and AF logo.. ANFA mean Islamic meaning of self-respected and dignity. when taking pills you help you maintain your dignity maybe restore the respect for yourself you lost from the emptiness of soul.. or something like that. and slim is just because slim looks even though the box doesn't really have a slim look to it. Extramundane one didn't need anything change on the graphic design but the dividers on all three boxes was trimmed down a bit to grab the crayons more easier if new or used crayons.
Composition: each design was made from illustrator using the shape tool and text tool.. separating the design and textual fonts , shapes layers.. once created.. print the 11x17 document and cut out exo-knife. construct the 3 boxes of 6 pieces to each with glue stick

In of 3d design class we discuss the aspects of learning measurements and as a great example of using measurements to a object is creating an object with certain dimensions but as a challenge we are using grid paper as the material. Week 1 Introduction

Hi Welcome to my first blog post, I'm formerly known as ANFASLIM or Slim. But for now academically standpoint My name is Marcell Key. I'm Currently a Junior attending Saint Xavier University (SXU). I'm Studio Art Major, Which Means an artist who creates visual works of art in a studio space or surrounding. I've been attending this institute since the fall of 15' and this semester may be my last since I plan on transferring to grand valley state university for illustration and psychology. In the past semester I have created an 3D object was a 3d printed object of an alien deer. the deer was made from an idea i had from a digital series i did of this glow geometric deer in a glow forest .. I thought to myself this would be cool to create as a 3d object so i created using blender i believe.. I converted to stl file and sent it to the 3d printer and i scaled to a reasonable size.
